It's been awhile!
I need to gain a better habit of keeping up!
I love finding more and more of my friends' blogs. I feel connected and secure, like I am still keeping up even though I feel like we've been on another planet for a month or so!
Ok, what's new? We're reversed! Uh, now what??
I've gained much ground with the help of a friend in getting ready for homeschooling. I have a list of books to order when I am ready and a list of projects to get done in August! Great!! Anyone want to come help? :) I'll make you a smoothie!! I think I will be spending a great bit of time up in Wimberley at my dad's building and exploring with the kids. Well, not a great bit, but more than I have ever been. We love to go there.
Actually, I am already started on the projects, now the kids and I just need to get to Hobby Lobby and pick out their fabric so I--I mean they--can sew their curtains. It will be fun. We'll measure and cut and all that jazz. :)
I am almost officially done translating Paul. All that is left is the proofing of 2 Corinthians after David is done. It's an amazing relief! Each day I am unwinding more, although I'd never trade that experience for the world. Thanks, God!!
Noelle and Gabe are going to be in a Musical called Seussical tomorrow night, and we are SO excited. Noelle wasn't even going to audition, and then scored a solo singing part!! I am super proud of her, and praise God for sending her courage. Gabe's a monkey (hee hee...what a stretch!!) Hanna and Trinity will be in the play as well, and Hanna scored a great part and a great dance as I understand, and sweet Trinity will monkey around with Gabe. I just can't wait!
I haven't been writing much, but I feel inspired. I am ready to paint and write and be present again. I am more and more motivated with raw nutrition the more I get cleaned out and rejuvinated. I have been all raw with the exception of popped corn the last week or so. I think I have found my balance! I am going to aim for a liver-gall bladder flush after CYT. I want to get it done incase I get pregnant soon. Just to make sure I get as much out as I can!!
Ok, my really funny friend posted "five things you may not know about me" and I thought it was so cute...here's mine...
One. I didn't graduate from college. (Apparently dropping classes isn't a major.)
Two. I have always hated sea food. Always. Yes, really.
Three. I am thinking about changing my family's last name to Gallagher.
Four. I have four generations alive on both sides of my family.
Five. I am short. (Shocking, I know.)
Ok, ok...Five for real. I love anything blue.
Whew! That was hard!
